FAQ
The stuff people ask most. Still stuck? Get in touch.
Are your pieces food, dishwasher & microwave safe?
Most are. Each product page says so specifically. Reactive and specialty glazes may be hand-wash recommended to keep them vivid. When in doubt, hand wash.
How does made-to-order work?
Some pieces are made fresh after you order. These ship in about 2–3 weeks and you can choose your glaze on the product page.
Do you ship? How much?
Yes, across the US. Pieces are packed with lots of padding. Shipping is calculated at checkout. Free local pickup is available in Havana.
Everything's one of a kind, so will mine look exactly like the photo?
Very close, but small variations in glaze, shape, and texture are normal (and the whole point) of handmade work.
Can I return a piece?
Because everything is handmade and often one-of-a-kind, returns are limited. See the shipping & returns page. Damaged-in-transit items are always made right.
What happens if I reserve a studio piece and it breaks?
Pottery involves real risk at every stage. A piece can crack during carving or drying, crawl in the glaze firing, or shatter in the kiln. If a piece doesn't make it through the process for any reason, your deposit is refunded in full. You only lose the deposit if you cancel the reservation yourself.
Do you do wholesale or markets?
Sometimes! Catch me at local markets (watch the announcement bar) or email about wholesale.
